Initiation
- The initiation stage starts with numerous factors attaching themselves to the Double Helix
- This prepares the DNA for transition to occur
- This animation shows the factors attaching to the DNA strand
- The Next event in the initiation stage is for the RNA Polymerase to also attach itself to the DNA strand
- The RNA Polymerase is the molecule that will later put the DNA strand through transcription
- The RNA Polymerase will get its energy from an ATP molecule which will also attach itself to the DNA strand
